Our Commitment to You

At Lamps Sales, we believe in lighting solutions that exceed expectations. If your museum-quality fixture doesn’t illuminate your space as envisioned, we offer a 15-day window from delivery date for returns or exchanges. Please note that due to their custom nature, wall plates and electrical hardware cannot be returned unless defective.

Return & Exchange Guidelines

  • Timeframe: 15 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging with all protective materials intact
  • Original Proof: Include your packing slip or order confirmation
  • Return Shipping: Customer responsibility (we recommend insured shipping)

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  2. Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package Securely: Use original packaging with all protective materials

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds processed within 5 business days
  • Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Notification: You’ll receive email confirmation when processed
  • Appearance: Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover standard shipping costs for the replacement item.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your Hudson Valley Lighting fixture arrives damaged (a rare occurrence with our double-boxed shipments):

  2. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost
  3. In some cases, we may request return of the damaged item

International Returns

For our global customers (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):

  • Follow the same return process
  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • We recommend using tracked shipping with insurance
